I do this when I want to get my heartrate up and my baby is in a particularly playful mood. She's loved these movements since month 3, and since then has gotten a lot heavier, and therefore provided a nice workout challenge.

5 rounds of:

  • 5 Thrusters (w/ kid)
  • 5 Swings
  • 5 Hollow Rocks

Note: Focus on connecting with your baby and scale the movements to your child's enjoyment. Don't speed through this workout!

Movement Tips

  • Thrusters - Face the baby towards you and add playful elements such as countdowns, or songs, like Pop Goes the Weasel.
  • Swings - Place your hands under their armpits and hinge from your hip, similar to a kettlebell swing. Pause between swings. Face a mirror for maximum fun and laughs. 
  • Hollow Rocks - Place baby face up or down on your belly with their head towards your head. Perform hollow rocks.
